Driving Instructions from the Mainland: From Orlando take the Florida Sunshine State Parkway (Turnpike) South

From Ft. Lauderdale take I-595 West to the Florida Sunshine State Parkway (Turnpike) South

From Miami take 836 West to the Florida Sunshine State Parkway (turnpike) South till it ends onto US1 South at Florida City (last settlement on the mainland). Then continue south on US1 (scenic Overseas Highway). Take your time and obey strict speed limits as it's mainly a 2-land highway over the bridges and causeways that link the Florida Keys! Very scenic drive, but watch the road!
